Your participation in the 2026 United Nations SDG-Junior Ambassador for #6 Water and Sanitation Orator and Illustrator Competition is a stride toward transformation. It is a testament to your commitment to shaping a world where the oceans flourish, communities thrive, and a legacy of stewardship endures.

As you step onto this platform of creativity and advocacy, remember that each stroke of a brush and every word uttered holds the potential to reverberate beyond the competition's confines. You possess the innate power to inspire, awaken, and stir change. By lending your voice and vision, you become a harbinger of hope, breathing life into a future where the oceans' song continues to enchant and sustain us all.”

How do I participate ?

You can participate in the competition as either an Orator or Illustrator. Orators will develop a short and concise video of themselves discussing anything relevant to the topic focus of the year. Likewise, illustrators will create a unique and original artwork (hand drawn) relating to topic focus of the year.

There are no right or wrong answers and thus content (oratory or illustration) will be judged on originality, creativity, applicability and presentation. It is imperative to gather the power of young people around the world to promote world peace and prosperity.

Examples might include;
•. How one envisions achieving the goal
•. What transformations need to occur in ones local community, city, or government in order for this goal to be realized
•. How does the absence of this goal affect relationships within society at various income levels?
