Empowering Local Leaders for Global Goals at Rubin Ayala High School 🌟
Just like the United Nations’ vision for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is “Global Goals and Local Leaders,” we are thrilled to share the exciting news of Rubin Ayala High School in Chino Valley Unified District, California, successfully launching the SDG-Chino Valley Chapter.
Moving beyond a focus on international involvement, our commitment has led us to engage with local young students who have proven to be exceptional leaders. In a recent milestone, six well-trained students at Ayala delivered outstanding lectures on cultural issues spanning across countries. This marks a significant step towards fostering a deeper understanding of global challenges among our youth.
Highlighting our dedication to this cause, the Cross Pakistan Program was launched in December and has been successfully completed. The ceremony, held on 12/14, was a momentous occasion where certificates were presented to these bright young minds. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Principal Ms. Diana Yarboi, Secretary Cheryl Cabrera, and Counselors Mr. Ryan Bell and Ms. Ashley Mosqueda for their support and encouragement.
Our mission is clear – to inspire the youth to become change agents, bridging the gap from global goals to local leadership. We believe that by nurturing the potential of our local leaders, we contribute to the collective journey towards achieving the Global Goals.
Join us in this empowering movement as we strive to make a lasting impact on our community and beyond. Together, let’s inspire a generation of leaders who will shape a brighter, more sustainable future. 🌱✨
